From May 1st, 2025, Winelab Academy is moving up – quite literally.
We’re relocating to brand-new, top-class facilities on the 19th floor of TRÆ, Denmark’s tallest wooden building, located in Sydhavnen, Aarhus. Built using upcycled materials, TRÆ is a shining example of modern, sustainable architecture.
Later this spring, we look forward to welcoming you to our spectacular new tasting room on the 19th floor, high above the city, where sweeping views of Aarhus Harbor will set the scene for our signature wine tastings and courses. The Winelab Agency office will be located on the 4th floor, just a short elevator ride away. We're also thrilled to be moving in next to the talented team behind Syv Ni 13, opening in early April 2025.
And yes — there’s an elevator! So we can finally invite everyone to join us for tastings and classes, with easy access all the way to the top.
Until April 9th, all courses will still take place at our current location on Mejlgade.

Sydhavnen – Aarhus’ new cultural quarter
Sydhavnen is buzzing with life and full of exciting developments.
This up-and-coming neighborhood at the end of Jægergårdsgade is quickly transforming into one of Aarhus’ most dynamic new hubs — with upcoming openings of a hotel, craft beer bar, cafés, live music venues, and creative businesses.
Here are just a few things happening in the area:
-
In 2026, Kulbroen will be transformed into a pedestrian bridge, connecting Frederiks Plads directly to TRÆ.
-
TRAIN, one of Denmark’s most iconic live music venues, is moving here in 2026 — bringing two brand-new concert halls and major music experiences with it.
-
A brand-new Art & Design Quarter is taking shape, adding a creative heartbeat and cultural soul to the neighborhood.
-
Porters, a jazz and beer bar, will open in 2026 — bringing yet another layer of atmosphere and charm to the area.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space starting May 7th!
